Due Sunday by 1 pm

Please READ and Follow Directions when writing this paper. There should be two parts to this paper a hypothetical case scenario and a intake and assessment form. Through research you should be able to find a free assessment form online with all the information on it. Points will be deducted for not following directions. Remember to combine your papers together as a whole and submit.

One of the major tasks in case management is to obtain information and effectively document that information.

For this part of your portfolio, you will develop a hypothetical case scenario based upon your project topic and create an intake and assessment form. The hypothetical case scenario will be used throughout the entire course project.

Part 1: Develop

Develop a two (2) page hypothetical case scenario on an individual client or a family. The scenario should be in depth and include all the pertinent information that is necessary to complete an intake and assessment form.

Part 2: Research

Conduct some online research on intake and assessment forms that are used in human services. Intake and assessment forms should include all pertinent information about the client and may vary greatly based on the agency.

Part 3: Create

Using information gained from your online research, create a one (1) page intake and assessment form.

Combine your hypothetical case scenario and intake and assessment form into a single Word document.

Use professional language including complete sentences and proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation throughout your paper. Be sure to cite any research sources in APA format. If you need assistance with APA format, refer to this Library and Learning Services APA Guide.

collective bargaining analysis

(25 points) 3-4 pages, not including cover or References pages

Locate an article describing a collective bargaining situation that has arisen within the year. This article should be from a newspaper, an academic journal, or a credible online news source (try searching “collective bargaining in the news”). Attach the article or give the link.  Use a minimum of two additional references from the course materials to support your discussion and to respond to the questions in the assignment. Use each question in para 2 below as a separate heading in your paper, double-space, and Times New Roman font, cover page, page numbers, and APA format.

1. Identify your main article:

  • Using APA guidelines state the proper citation for the article.

2. Respond to these questions:

  • What is the nature of the collective bargaining dispute?
  • What are the underlying causes of the dispute?
  • What economic or ethical pressures has each side attempted to use to prevail in the dispute?
  • If there is any evidence of any illegal or unethical conduct on either side, describe it in detail.
  • Was the dispute resolved? If so, how? If not, what are the possible resolutions?
  • What, if any, role was played by third parties in resolving this bargaining dispute? What was the identity of the third party?
  • In retrospect, could this dispute have been resolved in a more constructive fashion? If so, how?

Annotated Bibliography 3

Each student will be responsible for completing 3 annotated bibliography assignments throughout the semester.  For each assignment, you are required to read two articles and complete an annotated bibliography for each article (scholarly/peer-reviewed journal articles). See syllabus for example.

Annotated Bibliography

  1. You are to research two peer-reviewed articles from the CU Library. You can find the directions to accessing the library at the top of our Moodle page.                                                                                                                       Your AB’s should be 1⁄2 to 3⁄4 pages long. It should be double-spaced, and you are to use Times new Roman 12 font.
For your AB, you must have:
  • Your name, date, course, and AB number at the top (see example)
  • APA Reference before the information (see example)
Annotated bibliographies must be written in manner, in which, they are understandable. You must describe all-important data such as:
  • The participants
  • The reason the study was conducted
  • What research design was used (surveys, interviews, case study, etc.)
  • Which research analysis was used (MANOVA, ANOVA, Kruskal Wallace, etc.)
  • The results of the study along with any conclusions of the author(s)
Your study must include all of these (if applicable). Your AB MAY NOT be copied and pasted directly from the source. There MUST NOT be any form of plagiarism in your annotated bibliography (or any other assignment). You are required to write this assignment in your own words. You should pick the topic for your AB from the objectives listed at the beginning of each week’s module or from the syllabus.

research

1) Search online for a major HR software vendor specifically for talent management.

2) Write a 1 page summary of the software, how it works and why you chose this particular software from others available.

3) Assignment does not need to be APA format, but do provide reference where you obtained information

Article Review-2pages not including title and reference page

Use the following link to access the article you will use to conduct an article critique.

Beller, M. D. (2014). Mandated benefits, good or bad? At N.Y. hearing, reviews are mixed. Insurance Advocate, 125(19), 42–43. Retrieved from  https://libraryresources.columbiasouthern.edu/login?url=http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&db=edsbig&AN=edsbig.A396766770&site=eds-live&scope=site

After reading the article, compose your critique by addressing the items listed below.

  • Explain the main topic/question of the article.
  • Explain and identify mandatory indirect benefits addressed in the article.
  • Discuss factors to consider in determining how to offer and select benefits according to the article.
  • Take what you have learned from the unit and article, and apply the concepts to your life by explaining whether you support mandatory indirect benefits and describing how they can affect you.

Your critique should be at least two pages in length, not counting the title page and the references page. The critique should include at least two sources—one being the article and one being another credible source. Be sure that any citations or references are in proper APA format.

Strategic HRM Plan

Obtain the Instructor’s approval on the selected organization before writing the Strategic HRM Proposal.

Write a 750-1,000 word strategic human resource management plan. The purpose of this assignment is to simulate the thought process managers use to connect unit goals with organizational strategy. The students are not expected to produce a detailed strategic plan (which in actual organizations can exceed 100 pages). Rather, the expectation is that students demonstrate consideration of the multiple complexities involved in strategic planning.

The assignment is centered on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) model of analysis, and the specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) model of goal setting.

Access the GCU Library, relevant course materials, and Internet resources to research SWOT analysis and SMART goals.

Select an organization to research that has a description of the organization and necessary information available to conduct a SWOT analysis and develop SMART goals.

The Strategic HRM Plan should be in the form of a professional report. There is no single, correct manner of presentation. Critical and creative thinking is expected. The formatting is secondary to the content and application of knowledge. However, the proposal should be organized in a readily comprehensible manner that conveys a thorough understanding of course objectives. Graphics, bulleted lists, and charts are acceptable. Include the following:

  1. Introduction that outlines how the human resource goals support the organizational goals.
  2. Summary of the organizational description.
  3. A SWOT analysis.
  4. Three human resource goals that fulfill the SMART criteria.
  5. Alignment of human resources goals and strategic plans.
  6. Proposal for a job design initiative or an organizational hiring goal to meets the needs of the human resource goals and organizational goals.
  7. A conclusion that summarizes the highlights of the plan is presented.

Incorporate three to five resources (including your textbook) to support your Strategic HRM Plan.

Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.

Prep for Final

This assignment is designed to guide you as you start your research for the Final Paper. Review the requirements for your Final Paper. Then, use the following guide as you write your assignment for Week Three:

  • Final Paper Prep: For the Final Paper, you are to choose an emerging managed care delivery model, Accountable Care Organizations, or Patient-Centered Medical Homes. For this assignment, you will complete section two of your Final PaperManaged Health Care Quality – to address how the selected emerging managed healthcare delivery model has done to improve quality of care.
  • Annotated Bibliography: Provide an annotated bibliography of at least five of the required ten scholarly sources you will be using to write your Final Paper. An annotated bibliography starts with your source that is in APA format and followed by a brief descriptive and/or evaluative paragraph about your source. Follow the guide provided here in the Ashford Writing Center.  (Links to an external site.)
