CT1 Essay

Compare and Contrast Instructional Design Models

Select three different instructional design models presented in the module and compare and contrast the models. How are they similar and different? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each? Support your thinking, citing two to three scholarly sources which you can ascertain from the CSU Global library.

Then, indicate which model you think you would use for your instructional design blueprint and ID proposal (Portfolio Project) and why. You may find you change your mind in Module 2 once you select the business or organization for which you will design, and that is OK. Provide your best analysis of your choice at this time.

Your total assignment should be 3-5 pages long, excluding the title and reference list pages, both of which should be part of your submission.

Instructional Design Models to discuss: SAM Model, ADDIE Model, and ASSURE Model

Health Care For All Is A Nice Idea – But How Would We Pay For It?

Discussion: Health Care For All Is A Nice Idea – But How Would We Pay For It?

Extending health care services to all persons is a popular topic of discussion, but the overall cost of paying the bill for the services is what seems to stop it from becoming a reality. Take some time to research the facts regarding what it would cost to extend basic medical services to all persons in the United States, and some of the proposed ideas of how it would/could be paid for. What are the likely effects for all stakeholders involved? Do you believe it is fair to expect “the haves” to pay additional personal and/or corporate taxes to provide medical services for the “have nots”? Should workers have to give up their current employer-sponsored private-pay insurance to move to one single-payer system, or should there be a choice, and why? Use peer-reviewed sources (not opinions) to respond to these questions in approximately 200 words.

Leaders believe in creating change out of a spirit of community, building a collaborative vision through dialogue, and developing a vision that integrates personal and professional beliefs.

The concepts of leadership, advocacy, and change are intertwined. Leaders are expected to be innovators, risk takers, and strategic thinkers. They also need to be advocates at the local, state, and national levels, and they need to motivate and lead members, followers, and communities to do the same. Advocacy enables, empowers, and encourages members to become involved in change.

To prepare:

  • Think about different leadership, change, and advocacy perspectives as they relate to the agency you selected for your Capstone Project.

By Day 4

Post a brief description of your agency. Describe at least three distinctions in how the leadership perspective might differ from either the change or advocacy perspectives as they relate to your agency. Explain the implications of these differences on the actions you might take and on the potential results as they relate to the agency. Be specific, and provide examples to illustrate your points.
