Research paper subject data mining

discusses strategy and how ERM can be integrated with an organization’s overall strategy. Prepare a research paper on some of the various issues, protocols, methods, frameworks you found and discuss how – if possible – organizations can use ERM as strategy. It is perfectly acceptable if you deem ERM cannot be used as strategy, just back up your claim with scholarly research and justifications.

Your paper should meet these requirements:

  • Be approximately four to six pages in length, not including the required cover page and reference page.
  • Follow APA 7 guidelines. Your paper should include an introduction, a body with fully developed content, and a conclusion.
  • Support your answers with the readings from the course and at least two scholarly journal articles to support your positions, claims, and observations, in addition to your textbook. The UC Library is a great place to find resources.
  • Be clearly and well-written, concise, and logical, using excellent grammar and style techniques. You are being graded in part on the quality of your writing.

Required Resources

The following resources will be used to complete your assignment:

  • Microsoft Excel

This week you will complete the first draft of your Excel spreadsheet. Follow the steps listed below to complete the first part of your data collection.

  1. Create a new Excel file and call it “YourName_COMP150_W5_Assignment”.
  2. Add two new sheets and name them as “Read Me” and “Main Data”.
  3. The “Read Me” sheet is the place where you will add your name and date. You will also explain the purpose of the document and the type of information you are providing. See the example below.
    screenshot of example
  4. Based on your research topic, you need to provide a large set of data that can be used for analysis during this week and next. Your data set must be at least 10 rows and 3 columns and no more than 50 rows or 10 columns. You can make this up or do research to find a data set. The data set must have numbers to help with the calculations in the next steps, so it is recommended to review the entire assignment before you create the data set.
  5. The table with the dataset must have a header that is merged and center.
  6. The data must be visible so make sure the columns and rows have enough spacing
  7. You are expected to have all of the following calculations
    1. A formula using a relative reference
    2. A formula using an absolute reference
    3. Use at least three different functions
  8. Ensure the different types of data have the right formatting. Here are some guidelines
    1. Dates should have “date” formatting
    2. Any currency should have two decimals
    3. Any text should be set up as “text” or “general”
  9. Feel free to be creative by adding images or another formatting, and complete the file. Make sure the file is named “YourName_COMP150_W5_Assignment” and submit the file.

Purpose-To research how effective is the medication Verzenio in the treatment of Breast Cancer.

Content-

Verzenio is a prescription medicine used to treat a type of breast cancer. It is a medicine you can take if:

  • You have a type of breast cancer called HR+/HER2– (hormone receptor-positive/human epidermal growth factor receptor 2–negative) and cancer has spread to other parts of the body (metastasized)
  • Verzenio is given along with an aromatase inhibitor as initial endocrine-based therapy for the treatment of postmenopausal women, along with fulvestrant in women whose disease has progressed after hormonal therapy, or by itself in adults whose disease has progressed after hormone therapy and prior chemotherapy

It is not known if Verzenio is safe and effective in children.

Cancer Treatment Data-

Verzenio is an effective medication in treating breast cancer and helping people with metastatic breast cancer that’s HR-positive and HER2-negative to live longer.

Clinical trials of Verzenio looked at the progression-free survival rate. This is the amount of time that a person goes without their condition getting any worse. On average, people who took both Verzenio and fulvestrant went 16.4 months without progression. In comparison, people who took a placebo (treatment with no active drug) along with fulvestrant had a progression-free survival rate of 9.3 months.

Final Project (Interactive Solutions)

Project Description:

Currently, the world is going through a crazy epidemic (COVID-19). I hope all is well and are being safe. There are numerous data available online about COVID-19, such as COVID new cases per state, fatalities per country. As a data scientist, you are in charge of building an interactive chart that depicts numerous angles (at least three).

Activities:

1. Data Acquisition, Examination, and Transformation.

a. Collect the dataset you are planning to use within your project.

b. Data Examination

i. Examine the dataset to determine how you want to create an interactivity design and briefly explain your Solution.

c. If needed, perform Data Transformation

i. Perform data transformation techniques such as data cleansing, conversion, creation, and consolidation on the dataset.

ii. Record the transformation activities you performed on your dataset.

2. Data Exploration

a. Decide how you want to present the data.

b. Decide the tool you would like to create the interactive Solution. The tool could be a developer’s tool or non-developer’s tool.

c. If you are not familiar with the tool, complete a tutorial. The reference below includes links to different types of interactive tools and tutorials.

3. Interactive Solution

a. Design and develop an interactive solution.

b. Explain the challenge you encounter.

c. Explain how to avoid such occurrence when and if you decide to go live/production.

4. Proposed Dynamic Solution

a. Explain how you would modify your solutions that allow the data to change (dynamic) with a database continually.

Deliverables:

Word file with writing about the following:

· Data Acquisition, Examination, and Transformation [10 points]

· Data Exploration [10 points]

· Interactive Solution [40 points]

· Proposed Dynamic Solution [10 points]

· Screenshots of the different angles of the interactive Solution [4 points]

· APA formatting required. [5 points]

· At least five pages including cover page and reference list [1 point]

Submit a draft copy by 23 November 2020 at 11:59 PM and the final version on or before 30 November 2020. Draft copy submission is available in the week 13 folder while the final submission will be open during week 14

· Draft submission should include at least the Data Acquisition, Examination, and Transformation section [5 points]

· All other sections [75 points]

Set up your project with the given starting code. The files should compile and run, but either no tests will be run, or tests will run but be failing. 2. For this project, start by uncommenting the first TEST_CASE in the assg10-tests.cpp file. These are the unit tests to test the functionality of your PriorityQueue enqueue() function, the class and overridden member function you are to implement. 3. Add the PriorityQueue class to the Queue.hpp header file. The class should inherit from LQueue and override the enqueue() method as described in more detail below. 4. Add a stub for your enqueue() member function to the assg07-stackfun.cpp implementation file. You could start by doing nothing, or by copying the code of the enqueue() function from the LQueue class. 5. Your code should compile and run now. Make sure after adding the class and your stub method your code compiles and runs. However, your unit tests will be failing initially. 6. Incrementally implement the functionality of your enqueue() member function. You should try to add no more than 2 or 3 lines of code, and then make sure your program still compiles and runs. Start by adding code to get the first failing test to pass. Then once that test passes, move on to the next failing tests until you have all tests passing. If you write something that causes a previously passing test to fail, you should stop and figure out why, and either fix it so that the original test still passes, or remove what you did and try a new approach. 7. Once you have the enqueue() member function implemented and all unit tests passing, you should then move on to the other functions in the order suggested. Some functions use previous ones in this assignment, so do them in the order given for you in the tasks below.
