Evaluate the performance review process of a Fortune 500 company.

Analyze an article from the Harvard Business Review that offers insight into the employee performance review.

Start reviewing and responding to at least two of your classmates’ postings as early in the week as possible. Participate in the discussion by asking a question, providing a statement of clarification, providing a point of view with a rationale, challenging an aspect of the discussion, or indicating a relationship between one or more lines of reasoning in the discussion.

To support your work, use your course and textbook readings and also use the South University Online Library. As in all assignments, cite your sources in your work and provide references for the citations in APA format.

Think about some issues that have arisen in your community where there were leadership barriers for communication? If you were an emergency manager in your community and wanted to express the importance of education and preparedness for emergencies, how would you convince political stakeholders of the importance of educating the community? Begin this assignment by completing the Personal Assessment of Management Skills (PAMS). The Personal Assessment of Management Skills (PAMS) is a tool that will help you gauge your level of managerial skill competence. The PAMS include rating scales on sections regarding self-disclosure and openness to feedback as well as an awareness of your values, emotional intelligence, change orientation, and core self-evaluation. Overall you will create a profile of your leadership competence.

Then, share your PAMS assessment to at least three people who are familiar with your leadership qualities- a supervisor, colleagues, direct reports, etc. Ask those you select to reflect on your leaders’ skills and provide feedback that will help you to become a more effective manager. Include their feedback as you develop your Personal Development Plan to enhance your leadership capabilities.

Now, based on the results from your PAMS, feedback from selected individuals, and what you have studied in this course, create a Personal Development Plan to improve your leadership skills. The plan should include goals, objectives, timelines, and necessary resources.

Be sure to specify the following:

• Techniques you will implement to motivate employees and lead change, even when some oppose the change.
• An interpretation of your role in organizational planning.
• A critique of your skills in supervising a diverse workforce, indicating goals for improvement.

Support your assignment with at least seven scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including seminal articles, may be included.

Length: 12-15 pages, not including title and reference pages. Include a copy of your completed assessment with your paper. It is not counted in the pages required.

Your assignment should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.

Decision-making models, tools, and approaches are widely used in businesses today and, as a result, they are becoming more complex and specialized.

1. Describe the advantages and risks associated with leaders using these tools. Avoid phrases such as I think, feel or believe. Graduate students taking the course must be able to prove their assertions and opinion and thus you must support your answer with research.
2. Practical Application: Describe some of the tools your organization’s leaders uses (or could use), or provide a real-world example of tools in action. If your organizational leaders do does not use such a tool, recommend one it they should use and offer a reason for your recommendation.

Value Proposition in Patient Care

Paradise Hospital, Inc., is a for-profit hospital. As the facility’s new hospital administrator, you have been tasked with improving the service value of the hospital. The administration has not done this process since the hospital began operating in the year 1995. The investors are not familiar with the value proposition strategies of hospitals in current-day America.
