Throughout the term we have discussed various components of strategic planning. One of the key components to successful community programs is mobilization.

• Discuss the role of community mobilization.
• Additionally, discuss the role of the following individuals/groups in community mobilization.
  • Students whose last name begins with A-G should discuss the role of public health workers.
  • Students whose last name begins with H-N should discuss the role of coalition members.
  • Students whose last name begins with O-T should discuss the role of program developers.
  • Students whose last name begins with U-Z should discuss the role of religious leaders.

Review the Institute of Medicine’s 2010 report “The Future of Nursing: Leading Change, Advancing Health.” Write a 750‐1,000 word paper discussing the influence of the IOM report on nursing practice. Include the following:

1. Summarize the four messages outlined in the IOM report and explain why these are significant to nursing practice.
2. Discuss the direct influence the IOM report has on nursing education and nursing leadership. Describe the benefits and opportunities for BSN‐prepared nurses.
3. Explain why it is important that a nurse’s role and education evolve to meet the needs of an aging and increasingly diverse population.
4. Discuss the significance of professional development, or lifelong learning, and its relevance in caring for diverse populations across the life span and within the health‐illness continuum.
5. Discuss how nurses can assist in effectively managing patient care within an evolving health care system.

Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide. An abstract is not required.

The introduction of your paper should include:

Describe the interpersonal psychotherapy occurring in your clinical setting. If this is not occurring, describe how you will incorporate this into practice. 

This paper should provide an overall reflection of the student’s clinical interpersonal psychotherapy experience and should demonstrate the student’s ability to process a therapeutic session; the student is expected to obtain skills to conduct psychotherapy this semester.  The format of this paper is left to the discretion of the student as long as all requirements are included and APA 7th edition format is followed.  Required readings support your work, however, you should use evidence-based journals and advanced practice nursing literature to inform and support your paper. Citations of references using APA 6th edition style are to support the analyses and interpretation of group dynamics. The paper should be under 20  pages. 

1.  Provide the setting, population, background information where the individual therapy occurs

2. Give case examples that illustrate the use of interpersonal psychotherapy

3. Describe the differences in approach when using IPT as compared to psychodynamic psychotherapy and the reason the approach works in this setting.

4. Describe the psychiatric issues in your case study and how IPT is helpful

5. Describe how the IPT approach compares to Peplau’s Interpersonal Model

1. Appraise and debate the sampling methods. Consider the following questions:
   • Was the sampling method and inclusion/exclusion criteria adequate to reduce sampling bias?
   • Do the sample characteristics representative of the target population?
   • Was the sample size adequate?

Research and organize literature for the Interdisciplinary 

Incorporate health outcomes of the health promotion, detection of disease and disease prevention.  Organize an interdisciplinary plan of care for your client and the delivery of safe and effective care. Choose a patient, a gender, a medical condition and a situation of patient condition and their disease process and apply standards that are evidenced based which help support for the protection of your client. 

Incorporate concepts from Care of the Aging weekly powerpoints and the book-Gerontological Nursing and Healthy Aging (Toughy & Jett, 2018).

Paper should be 3 pages not including title and reference page.

 For this assignment, select an artifact that, in your opinion, unfairly creates a negative bias or promotes a negative stereotype about one population of society. The pop culture artifact can be a media source (song, movie, television program), a product or other tangible associated with pop culture.  Provide a link to this artifact (or an image). Explain why you have selected this artifact, and why you feel that this creates a negative bias. Describe how you would re-design or re-write the script of this artifact to change the way others would view this population.

In your paper:

• Provide a specific link to pop culture artifact used for this paper or an image of the artifact. 
• Discuss the artifact in depth.  Explain the stereotypes or biases that you see being perpetuated in the artifact.
