Work #1:

Actual work where 2 students given their post on this:

Describe in 500 words the shared security responsibility model that a dba must be aware of  when moving to the cloud.

Use at least three sources. Use the Research Databases available from the Danforth Library not Google. Include at least 3 quotes from your sources enclosed in quotation marks and cited in-line by reference to your reference list.  Example: “words you copied” (citation) These quotes should be one full sentence not altered or paraphrased. Cite your sources using APA format. Use the quotes in your paragaphs.  Stand alone quotes will not count toward the 3 required quotes.

Copying without attribution or the use of spinbot or other word substitution software will result in a grade of 0.

Write in essay format not in bulleted, numbered or other list format.

Reply to two classmates’ posting in a paragraph of at least five sentences by asking questions, reflecting on your own experience, challenging assumptions, pointing out something new you learned, offering suggestions. These peer responses are not ‘attaboys’.

It is important that you use your own words, that you cite your sources, that you comply with the instructions regarding length of your post and that you reply to two classmates in a substantive way (not ‘nice post’ or the like).  Your goal is to help your colleagues write better. Do not use spinbot or other word replacement software. It usually results in nonsense and is not a good way to learn anything. I will not spend a lot of my time trying to decipher nonsense. Proof read your work or have it edited. Find something interesting and/or relevant to your work to write about.

Work #2:

 1) How do investors measure the risk of individual common stocks? Please describe one of these methods in detail.

Please find the two attachments.

Mental health community

Mental Health in the Community

Write a 1000-1500 word essay addressing each of the following points/questions. Be sure to completely answer all the questions for each bullet point. There should be three main sections, one for each bullet below. Separate each section in your paper with a clear heading that allows your professor to know which bullet you are addressing in that section of your paper. Support your ideas with at least three (3) sources using citations in your essay. Make sure to cite using the APA writing style for the essay. The cover page and reference page in correct APA do not count towards the minimum word amount. Review the rubric criteria for this assignment.

  • Go to the Healthy People 2020 website and search for Mental Health and Mental Disorders. After reading the Overview section in Healthy People 2020 under Mental Health and Mental Disorders, pick and note the number and name of 2 objectives/goals from the list that you feel affect your community and explain why these were chosen. As a nurse, what can you do to help the community move towards this goal?
  • Explain how physical health and mental health are correlated. What impact does each have on the other? Give at least one detailed example of how either a specific physical ailment leads to a breakdown in mental health or how a specific mental health disorder can lead to physical issues.
  • Explain Trauma Informed Care in detail. How you can use Trauma Informed Care to assist a child who has been impacted by trauma?

Assignment Expectations:

Length: 1000-1500 words; answers must thoroughly address the questions in a clear, concise manner.

Structure: Include a title page and reference page in APA format. These do not count towards the minimum word count for this assignment. Your essay must include an introduction and a conclusion.

References: Use appropriate APA style in-text citations and references for all resources utilized to answer the questions. A minimum of three (3) outside scholarly sources are required.

Rubric: This assignment uses a rubric for scoring. Please review it as part of your assignment preparation and again prior to submission to ensure you have addressed its criteria at the highest level.

Format: Save your assignment as a Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx) or a PDF document (.pdf)

File name:  Name your saved file according to your first initial, last name, and the assignment number (for example, “RHall Assignment 1.docx”)

Homework

Based on this case study, consider the following questions.

 1. What caring behaviors prompted the nurse manager to assign the clinical nurse leader to engage in direct caring for Mrs. Smith? Describe the clinical nurse leader role established by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing in 2004.
2. What issues (ethical, spiritual, legal, social-cultural, economic, and physical) from the structure of the theory of bureaucratic caring influenced this situation? Discuss end-of-life issues in relation to the theory.
3. How did the nurse manager balance these issues? What considerations went into her decision making? Discuss the role and the value of the clinical nurse leader on nursing units. What is the difference between the nurse manager and the clinical nurse leader in terms of caring practice in complex hospital care settings? How does a clinical nurse leader fit into the theory of bureaucratic caring for implementation of a caring practice?
4. What interrelationships are evident between persons in this environment—that is, how were the vice president for nursing, nurse manager, clinical nurse leader, staff, and patient connected in this situation? Compare and contrast the traditional nursing process with Turkel, Ray, and Kornblatt’s (2012) language of caring practice within the theory of bureaucratic caring

The Application of Data to Problem-Solving

In the modern era, there are few professions that do not to some extent rely on data. Stockbrokers rely on market data to advise clients on financial matters. Meteorologists rely on weather data to forecast weather conditions, while realtors rely on data to advise on the purchase and sale of property. In these and other cases, data not only helps solve problems, but adds to the practitioner’s and the discipline’s body of knowledge.

Of course, the nursing profession also relies heavily on data. The field of nursing informatics aims to make sure nurses have access to the appropriate date to solve healthcare problems, make decisions in the interest of patients, and add to knowledge.

In this Discussion, you will consider a scenario that would benefit from access to data and how such access could facilitate both problem-solving and knowledge formation.

To Prepare:

  • Reflect on the concepts of      informatics and knowledge work as presented in the Resources.
  • Consider a hypothetical scenario      based on your own healthcare practice or organization that would require      or benefit from the access/collection and application of data. Your      scenario may involve a patient, staff, or management problem or gap.

Post a description of the focus of your scenario. ( 5-6 paragraphs)

Describe the data that could be used and how the data might be collected and accessed.

What knowledge might be derived from that data?

How would a nurse leader use clinical reasoning and judgment in the formation of knowledge from this experience?

Strategies for Academic Portfolios

In the realm of marketing, a successful branding strategy is one of the most important contributors to organizational success. A solid branding strategy can help add visibility and credibility to a company’s products.

Similarly, nurse-scholars can build a personal brand to add visibility and credibility to their work. You can begin building your brand by developing and maintaining an academic portfolio. Such an activity can help share the results of your efforts and contribute to your success. This week’s Discussion asks you to consider and share strategies for building your portfolio.

To Prepare:

  • Reflect on strategies that you can pursue in developing portfolios or portfolio elements that focus on academic achievements.
  • Review one or more samples from your own research of resources focused on portfolio development.

Post an explanation of at least two strategies for including academic activities and accomplishments into your professional development goals. Then, explain how those goals may align with the University’s emphasis on social change. Be specific and provide examples.

Support main post with 3 of more current, credible sources and cite source within content of posting and on a reference list in proper APA.

The patterns regarding the use of complementary and alternative medicine among the general population have been established in which the 2002 data depicts the number of persons who use CAM with prayer and those who do not. In the investigation, it was found that CAM therapy represented one of the highly common form of prayer that was being used by well over 60 percent of the individuals involved in the survey. On this issue, it has also been pointed out that the use of complementary and alternative medicine has increased in a dramatic fashion over the past few years. It is also observed that “Several studies of CAM utilization reveal that reported use increases dramatically and may even double when prayer is included in the definition of CAM” (Ernst, 2015). Among the 60 percent of people who use the complementary and alternative medicine with prayer, the prayer has been categorized based on such aspects like yoga as well as the spiritual healing. In a different direction, it has also been indicated that application of the term prayer during the use of CAM is presented with the need for providing a distinction among the various forms of spiritual healing linked to CAM.

The percentage of people using CAM without prayer includes many of the adult population representing 36 percent of CAM users in the United States alone. The foregoing percentage encompasses the persons who have been reported to use variable therapies of CAM in a period of the past twelve months. While 10 different therapies did not include prayer, three out of the 10 CAM therapies were used with prayer (Ernst, 2015).

Americans are using complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). The most comprehensive and reliable findings to date on Americans’ use of CAM were released in May 2004 by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) and the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS, part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). They came from the 2002 edition of the NCHS’s National Health Interview Survey (NHIS), an annual study in which tens of thousands of Americans are interviewed about their health- and illness-related experiences. Approximately one- third of adults use complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). (NAACM, 2012) CAM is used with or without the use of conventional medicine. According to this nationwide survey, almost two- thirds (62 percent) of US adults used prayer. (NAACM, 2012) By incorporating prayer, Americans use CAM in hopes that treatment and prevention of disease have better odds and overall, the quality of life is enhanced. The survey did indicate that CAM was used greater by women, individuals of higher education, individuals recently hospitalized and former smokers compared to other groups. Spiritual practices (use of prayer) are one way of being involved in the health and healing of oneself. It is said that forty-three percent of individuals pray for their health, while twenty-four percent have others that pray for them. (NAACM, 2012)
