It is considered one of the Big Four technology companies along with Amazon, Apple, and Google.

Paper Section 1: Reflection and Literature Review

Using Microsoft Word and Professional APA format, prepare a professional written paper supported with three sources of research that details what you have learned from chapters 11 and 12.  This section of the paper should be a minimum of two pages. 

Paper Section 2:  Applied Learning Exercises

In this section of the professional paper, apply what you have learned from chapters 11 and 12 to descriptively address and answer the problems below.  Important Note:  Dot not type the actual written problems within the paper itself.

  1. Search to find and possibly test some applications of artificial intelligence and ES. Consider a fictional or real organizational work environment for which you are currently part of or what to be part of and think about a decision-making problem that requires some expertise (but is not too complicated) for this type of work environment. Based on research, experience and or understanding of this work environment, identify the problems that are supported or can potentially be supported by rule-based systems. Some possible example areas could include, and is not limited to, selection of suppliers, selection of a new employee, job assignment, computer selection, market contact method selection, determination of admission into graduate school and or specific ones more suited to the established work environment based on experience and or desire.
  2. How does knowledge management support decision-making? Identify products or systems on the Web that help organizations accomplish knowledge management. Start with brint.com and knowledgemanagement.com. Try one out and report your findings and learning experience.

 Paper Section 3:  Conclusions

After addressing the problems, conclude your paper with details on how you will use this knowledge and skills to support your professional and or academic goals. Entry level networking

I have a timed packet tracer assignment that I would like to complete after 10pm this evening.  I will not know the details until I open the assignment and then clock starts.  My guess is that it will be building a small network with 7 or less devices and will involve some subnetting and will require to ping a device.  I will need somebody that can be on the phone with me for 40 minutes to help me.  I can copy and email the assignment once it is opened.

select an organization that has leveraged Cloud Computing technologies in an attempt to improve profitability or to give them a competitive advantage.  Research the organization to understand the challenges that they faced and how they intended to use Cloud Computing to overcome their challenges.  The paper should include the following sections each called out with a header.

• Company Overview:  The section should include the company name, the industry they are in and a general overview of the organization.

• Challenges: Discuss the challenges the organization had that limited their profitability and/or competitiveness and how they planned to leverage Cloud Computing to overcome their challenges.

The paper must adhere to APA guidelines including Title and Reference pages.  There should be at least five scholarly sources listed on the reference page.  Each source should be cited in the body of the paper to give credit where due.  Per APA, the paper should use a 12-point Time New Roman font, should be double spaced throughout, and the first sentence of each paragraph should be indented .5 inches.  The body of the paper should be 4 – 5 pages in length.  The Title page, Abstract, and Reference pages do not count towards the page count requirements

In support of your Group Research Assignment for the residency, you will be developing an Annotated Bibliography.

This assignment is one of several throughout your program that we use to help you to better understand the research process. One of the core competencies necessary to succeed in a graduate program is the ability to identify other research that pertains to your own. This means you’ll have to identify similar research, read the papers, and assimilate prior work into your own research. An annotated bibliography helps you develop and hone these research skills.

This annotated bibliography should specifically focus on literature related to one of the laws or regulations that we have covered in this course. Each group will be assigned a different law or regulation for consideration. The resources you select must clearly align with the research topic. This is not expected to be a complete bibliography of every resource that you review in the process of your research.
