Compared with some of the other models you have read in the textbook, another increasingly common way to view IT-Business strategy and strategic use of information resources is through the lens of Digital Business Strategy and Digital Transformation. View the following video then answer the related questions – the presentation is titled Digital Disruption: Transforming Your Company for the Digital Economy with Jeanne Ross – [approximately 45-minute presentation] –

1. Other than a difference in terminology, how is a “Digital Strategy” as presented in the video different than an IT Strategy that you read about in Module 1?

2. What is SMACIT? How are the technologies included in SMACIT disrupting businesses? What operational or digital foundations must be in place in order for a business to successfully build an integrated digital strategy with SMACIT?

3. After reviewing the video, provide an example of a company you believe is successfully employing a digital business strategy and provide several examples as related to SMACIT and backbone? (Please choose a company other than one in the presentation. You may consider choosing a manufacturer. Avoid choosing a tech company such as Facebook or Amazon.)

Arrange Networks and Trees, Map Color and Other Channels

Arrange Networks and Trees

Q1. (a) Briefly introduce how Force-directed algorithms encode networks.

(b) In force-directed placement, does spatial proximity (visual clump) always indicate grouping/ community? Explain.

(c) One of the weakness of force-directed placement is that the layouts are often nondeterministic. What does it mean?

(d) Illustrate the scalability issue of force-directed placement briefly.

Q2. (a) How does adjacency matrix encode networks?

(b) Give an example of matrix view of a network that’s not from the textbook and explain what it is. You need to include the reference if the answer is found online.

Q3. (a) How does treemaps encode trees?

(b) Given an example of Treemap layout that’s not from the textbook and explain what it is. You need to include the reference if the answer is found online.

Map Color and Other Channels

Q4. Color can be best understood in terms of three separate channels: luminance, hue, and saturation. Briefly explain how does this system specify colors. (Figures can be used to help illustration.)

Q5. Explain the meaning of HSL /HSV and how does this system specify colors?

Q6. (a) What are three major problems with the common continuous rainbow colormap?

We have viewed how Blockchain has made a significant impact on businesses and industries.

Select one industry and highlight the advancements Blockchain has had on that single industry. Your paper should meet the following requirements:

  • Be approximately 3 papers in length, not including the required cover page and reference page.

Classification of Mushrooms

I require a code for the classification of mushrooms for this dataset https://www.kaggle.com/uciml/mushroom-classification  I want the code to perform classification if the mushroom is edible or not using SVM, Decision tree, Random Forest, and Naive Bayes with their f-precision, recall, accuracy. I also want cross validation on the mentioned methods.

I also need a project report that is 4 pages, which details in the first page – 1 The problem description and task

In the second page – The attributes, the preprocessing being done on them and features.

In the third page – The models being used which and how we used it

Fourth Page – I need the experiment results and the cross validation with the models

Incident Response Planning

Incident Response Planning involves the creation of three sets of standard operating procedures (SOP); During the Incident, After the Incident and Before the Incident. As the CISO of a small manufacturing business what are the tasks you would assign to both the Users and Technology Services in the SOP for During the Incident? Who are the key personnel that need to be notified?
