Pizza Party

2: Pizza Party Your user is throwing a pizza party and must determine if they have enough pizza to feed their guests. Givens: How many pizzas did you order? How many slices per pizza? How many guests will be at the party? How many slices will each guest eat? Result To Print Out: “Yes, you have enough pizza for your guests with X slices left over.” or “You need at least X more slices of pizza. You should order more pizza.” Problem #3: Discount Double Check You are going to purchase (2) items from an online store. If you spend $100 or more, you will get a 10% discount on your total purchase. If you spend between $50 and $100, you will get a 5% discount on your total purchase. If you spend less than $50, you will get no discount. Givens: Cost of First Item (in $) Cost of Second Item (in $) Result To Print Out: “Your total purchase is $X.” or “Your total purchase is $X, which includes your X% discount.” Problem #4 – Logical Operators: Movie Ticket Price The local movie theater in town has a ticket price of $12.00. But, if you are a senior (55 and older), or are under 10, or are seeing a matinee which screens from 3 pm to 5 pm, you get the discounted price of $7.00, nice! Hint 1: “55 and older” is INCLUSIVE Hint 2: under 10 is EXCLUSIVE Hint 3: the range 3 to 5 is INCLUSIVE Hint 4: limit 1 per patron (i.e., it doesn’t compound) Hint 5: considering there’s 3 am and pm and 5 am and pm, using a 24-hour clock (aka military time) may be an easier option (0000 to 2359) Determine which of the two prices the customer is eligible for. Givens: Time of Movie (Assume whole numbers here) Age of the customer Result To Print Out: “The ticket price is X”

Reflection: Information and Security

Reflection on the lessons and labs completed in Weeks 3 and 4, respond to the following prompts in 3-4 pages:

Part I:

Review the “7 Steps to Solving a Problem” attachment above

Part II:

Read the story below:

You are currently working at a small company of about 100 employees. Your company just lost a very large client and therefore they need to let go of five employees in your department.

The workload of the five employees has been divided up between you and a fellow employee. Your fellow employee is very upset about this because now they must take on more work and not get a pay raise. This employee wants you to join them and fight your boss together for more money. You don’t feel comfortable doing this because you love your job. You would like to make more money, but you do not want to upset anyone and lose your position. On top of this situation, there is a big project that needs to be completed in three days!

How would you solve the above problem?

  1. Review the “7 Steps to Solving a Problem” attachment. Reflect on, and discuss, how the problem described above can be resolved using the steps.
  2. Analyze and explain your application of each of the 7 steps in the “7 Steps to Solving a Problem” attachment to solving the problem described in the above story

Mobile Application – discussion

Developing in the mobile space can be a daunting task for developers.  Developers must figure out which platforms they should support for their apps, purchase the hardware, and join the developer programs for each platform.   PhoneGap is an open source set of tools which enables developers to create mobile applications for multiple devices by utilizing the same code. It is a hybrid mobile application framework that allows the use of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to write applications which are based on the open standards of the web.  MonoTouch and Mono for Android rely on the Mono Framework to function. Mono is a cross-platform open source implementation of the .NET Framework.  Mono is a cross-platform open source implementation of the .NET Framework.

  • How is sharing code being one of the most appealing reasons to use MonoTouch and Mono for Android?  Explain
  • How is the use of debugging tools helpful in resolving mobile application issues quickly?

data visualization Assignment

Review The Power of Good Design and select three of the ten principles noted for good design. Next in R, utilize these three principles in a problem that you will solve. First note the problem to solve, the dataset (where the information was pulled from), and what methods you are going to take to solve the problem.  Ensure the problem is simple enough to complete within a two-page document. For example, I need to purchase a house and want to know what my options are given x amount of dollars and x location based on a sample of data from Zillow within each location.
Ensure there is data visualization in the homework and note how it relates to the three principles selected.

If you are not currently working, share how you could leverage the knowledge gained working as an IT consultant working for an organization of your choice.

Requirements:  Provide a 500-word (2 or more pages double spaced not counting the title and reference pages) paper.  The paper should include a title page, body pages, and reference page.  An abstract and introduction is not required for this assignment.  Correct use of APA guidelines for sources and citations is required. If supporting evidence from outside resources is used those must be properly cited.

Requirement 3:

Need three pages of paper work on securities and risks of Infrastructure as a Service(Iaas)

Mobile programming device

In this application, you will need to create a game using SpriteKit.
The sketch of the app is seen given below.

Image was here and  is attached below:

The challenge of this game is to collect as many as flower with the vase (catcher). Flowers fall down from the top of the screen and user will move the vase and collects flowers. In the above figure the dashed line arrows show possible movement directions of the components. In the game no dashed line will be shown. The game scene runs in gravity. The flower will be left from randomly chosen X points (Y is fix) from the top. User can swipe vase only to the right and/or left to collect them. Once the vase touches a flower, then a score is made, and that particular flower disappears with a sound (for example, http://soundbible.com/1536-Stapler.html). User will be granted 60 sec to collect as much as flowers. On the top-right corner of the game, show the remain time and score. Make sure that not many flowers will release at the same time. You may adapt a strategy to release flowers in a discrete way, such as one flower will be release every 2 – 5 seconds from random coordinates. Make sure that flower and vase sprites are not so small and/or big. A typical size for a flower is 64×64, and for vase image is 100×100. Game ends after 60 seconds, shows the score and a restart button a new game.
