This is the fourth in a series of five sequential assignments (the course project) in which you continue to act as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of a hypothetical, e-commerce start-up company of your design.

You have been working on delivering an information technology project plan in anticipation of the company relocating to a new facility.

• In the first course project deliverable, you created a project plan inception document and supporting Gantt chart.
• In the second course project deliverable, you developed the business requirements to be incorporated into the information systems design you are creating. You also updated your original supporting Gantt chart based on major and minor tasks identified in the business requirements document.
• In the third course project deliverable, you created an infrastructure design that considered the key elements of software, hardware, security, and business process flow for your e-commerce startup company. Once again, you updated your supporting Gantt chart to reflect the major and minor tasks uncovered while developing the infrastructure design.

This fourth course project deliverable focuses on the project’s construction phase. In this assignment, you will develop the system implementation plan document. This document will include the engineering, furnishing, and installation (EFI) technical aspects of your e-commerce company’s information systems infrastructure. This assignment consists of two parts:

You are to write an 8–10-page system implementation document in which you:

1. Use graphical tools to design the logical and physical layout of the planned e-commerce company’s information systems.
2. Use graphical tools to illustrate the possible placement of key infrastructure elements with external connectivity (Internet) and internal connectivity (firewalls, LAN).
3. Develop the bill of materials and tabulate it in a spreadsheet to include item, description, model number, and approximate cost.
4. Document the methodology and process to include the engineering, furnishing, and installation of the identified inventory.
5. Use three sources to support your writing.
   • Choose sources that are credible, relevant, and appropriate.
   • Cite each source listed on your source page at least one time within your assignment.
   • Access the library or review library guides for help with research, writing, and citation.

Electronic commerce (e-commerce) sites are developed with a variety of tools and methods. For this assignment, do the following:

• Locate an article that explains how to upload a Web site to a Web server.
• Provide a reference (with link) in your post.
• Explain in your own words how the method described in the article works and under what circumstances you might use this approach. For example, is it for all Web sites, or just those made with a specific tool or set of tools? Give some examples. (1–2 paragraphs)
• Discuss Web site backup options, with attention to whether a backup is performed by the hosting provider or by a customer using a file transfer tool. Explain whether this difference is important, and why. (1–2 paragraphs)

1. The concern over deforestation has created a demand for greener construction materials and novel approaches to sustainable architectural design. Green architects, such as Mike Reynolds, use materials such as tires, cans & bottles, rammed earth, and straw bales to build homes.  What problems or benefits do you think may arise from Reynold’s approach to domestic architecture?  Should ecological concerns be important to homeowners & architects?  Why or why not?

For the essay, research the Facebook user data breach. 

Analyze what Facebook did wrong and what they did right.

Based on your research, address the following questions:

Project Description:

As a nursing student you often need to put together presentations on various health related topics for your courses. You have been asked to prepare a presentation on understanding the warning signs of a heart attack and risk factors for heart disease.

Start PowerPoint. Download and   open the file named Exp19_PPT_Ch03_ML2_Heart.pptx.   Grader has automatically added your last name to the beginning of the   filename. 

On Slide 3 insert a Basic Block   List SmartArt graphic. Type the following list items into the Text pane:
Family   history of heart disease
High   blood pressure
Overweight   or obese
Lack   of exercise
Use   of tobacco products
Diabetes   or other diseases
For   women, use of birth control pills

Select all of the individual   shapes in the SmartArt graphic. Change the shapes to Frame in the Basic   Shapes group. Click Larger in the Shapes group three times to increase the   size of the shape borders. Change the font color to Black, Text 1 for all   shapes. Change the width to 3.8″ for all shapes. 

Start Excel. Open HeartData.xlsx and copy the clustered   column chart. On Slide 4, paste the chart using Paste Special as an embedded   object.

Change the width of the embedded   chart to 9.1“. Change the horizontal position to 1.3” and the vertical position   to 1.9“. 

On Slide 6, insert a two column,   seven row table in the content placeholder. Type the following information   into the table:
  Row 1: Col 1: Men; Col 2: Women
  Row 2: Col 1: Chest pain/discomfort; Col 2: Chest pressure
  Row 3: Col 1: Rapid or irregular heartbeat; Col 2: Fatigue for   several days
  Row 4: Col 1: Dizzy or light-headed; Col 2: Anxiety and sleep disturbances
  Row 5: Col 1: Cold sweat; Col 2: Back, neck, arm, or jaw pain
  Row 6: Col 1: Stomach discomfort/indigestion; Col 2: Nausea

Insert a column to the right of   the first column in the table. Merge the cells in rows 2–7 of the new column.

Make the following changes to   the table:
  • Apply the Light Style 2 table style.
  • Change the height of the table to 4.5“
  • Change the alignment for all cells in the table to Center Vertically.

Insert the Heart.jpg image into the merged column as a background image.
 

Save and close Exp19_PPT_Ch03_ML2_Heart.pptx. Submit   the file as directed.

Start Excel. Download and open   the file named ITData.xlsx and save   it as ITData_LastFirst.xlsx. Copy   the chart from the Job Growth Percentage worksheet and embed the chart using   Paste Special on Slide 3. Paste as Microsoft Office Graphic Object.

Size the chart to a height of 4.5“. Position the chart   horizontally at 1” and vertically at 1.85“.
