Job Interview Presentation ( fundamentals of networking)

 Instructions

This week, you will submit your answers to the interview questions. The questions are based on fundamental networking concepts that are likely to be asked at an entry-level networking job interview. The following topics are covered:

  • LAN topologies
  • OSI model and layers
  • networking devices
  • common protocols
  • IP ranges
  • class of network and default subnet mask
  • autonomous system

You will also need to include either an audio file along with your presentation or record a screen-capture video of the presentation. These presentation resources can help you prepare and record your presentation. Your presentation should be done as if you were in an actual interview. The presentation should be about five to 10 minutes.

Write an essay of at least five hundred words discussing the use of encryption to protect data at rest, in motion, and in use.  

Do not copy without providing proper attribution. This paper will be evaluated through SafeAssign. 

Write an essay format not in outline, bulleted, numbered or another list format.  

Use the five-paragraph format. Each paragraph must have at least five sentences. Include 3 quotes with quotation marks and cited in-line and in a list of references. Include an interesting meaningful title.

Include at least one quote from each of 3 different articles. Use the Research Databases available from the Danforth Library, not Google.  Place the words you copied (do not alter or paraphrase the words) in quotation marks and cite in-line (as all work copied from another should be handled). The quotes should be full sentences (no more, less) and should be incorporated in your discussion (they do not replace your discussion) to illustrate or emphasize your ideas.

Cite your sources in a clickable reference list at the end. Do not copy without providing proper attribution (quotation marks and in-line citations).

It is important that you use your own words, that you cite your sources, that you comply with the instructions regarding length of your submission Do not use spinbot or other word replacement software. Proofread your work or have it edited. Find something interesting and/or relevant to your work to write about.

  2.  Choose a topic closely related to our weekly material and write a concise summary using the organizational template and example

Foundations I Discussion

 Discuss some of the “Software Engineering ” constraints that must be overcome in order build a successful system.

Search the peer-reviewed literature  for examples of this. You may select any topic relating to technology that illustrates the potential for really messing things up. Include, in your description, an analysis of what might have caused the problems and potential solutions to them.
