This is a continuing assignment; you will be using this drop box until you and your faculty mentor approve your topic. 

In a 200-word document, describe your topic. Identify research in the area any models/theories developed in the area. Have you identified a cite problem/gap in this body of knowledge?

Are you considering doing a qualitative, quantitative, mixed method, project, etc., study, identify a possibly population to gather data from.

 Consider the data flow “octopus,” as shown in Figure 8.1. How can the analysis system gather data from all these sources that, presumably, are protected themselves? 

Server virtualization and cloud computing

 For your written assignment this week, complete a case study of the organization you work for (use a hypothetical or “other” organization if more applicable) that will address the following prompts:

 • Describe the organization’s environment, and evaluate its preparedness for virtualization.

• Explain Microsoft (or another product) licensing for virtualized environments.

• Recommend a configuration for shared storage; make sure to discuss the need for high availability and redundancy for virtualization for the organization.

• Explain Windows Azure capabilities for virtual machines and managing a hybrid cloud, including Windows Azure’s Internet as a Service (IaaS) and storage capabilities

Make a recommendation for cloud computer use in the organization, including a justification for your recommendations.

• Be approximately four to six pages in length (1200-1800 words), not including the required cover page and reference page.

 Several Big Data Visualization tools have been evaluated in this weeks paper.  While the focus was primarily on R and Python with GUI tools, new tools are being introduced every day.  Compare and contrast the use of R vs Python and identify the pros and cons of each. Provide an example of both programming languages with coding examples as well as your experience in using one or both programming languages in professional or personal work. If you have no experience with either language, please discuss how you foresee using either/both of these languages in visualizing data when analyzing big data.

  Prepare a research paper on some of the various issues, protocols, methods, frameworks you found and discuss how – if possible – organizations can use ERM as strategy. It is perfectly acceptable if you deem ERM cannot be used as strategy, just back up your claim with scholarly research and justifications. Your paper should meet these requirements: 

  • Be approximately 5 full pages in length, not including the required cover page and reference page.
  • Follow APA 7 guidelines. Your paper should include an introduction, a body with fully developed content, and a conclusion.
  • Support your answers with the readings from the course and at least two scholarly journal articles to support your positions, claims, and observations, in addition to your textbook. 
  • Be clearly and well-written, concise, and logical, using excellent grammar and style techniques. You are being graded in part on the quality of your writing.
